About Family Sponsorship
Canadian Family Sponsorship Immigration occupies more than one-quarter of the total immigration population. Family Sponsorship immigration is summarized into three great categories: sponsor your spouse, partner or dependent child; sponsor your parents and grandparents; sponsor of your adopted children or other relatives. Those who hold permanent resident or citizenship need to be 18 years or older, fit the requirements and meet the minimum yearly income level, they are eligible to sponsor their parents, grandparents, and their spouse and their children who are 19 years old or under to immigrate to Canada.
If the applicant is already living in Canada, then they need to provide their legal entrance permit that is valid throughout their stay in Canada. Those without a legal permit cannot apply for permanent resident in the category of family sponsorship. However, they are able to apply if they are out of the country.
